I can't believe it's been months since our last post, because it felt like I sat down just yesterday to write it out! I suppose time really does fly when you're having fun, huh? We've been enjoying these past few months, but it's sure been busy alright!
We loaded up a box truck with our furniture and sent it out to Oshawa; the Founding Father's brother opened a shop at 156 Simcoe St S. We send out shelves, a treadle-based sewing machine, small tables, 2 desks, and a whole bunch of other stuff for the shop. If you're in Oshawa or surrounding area, drop by to check it out!
We managed to free up quite a considerable amount of space in our tiny shop, and now have room for more effective treasure hunting. We now have 3 solid aisles! It doesn't sound like much, but drop by to see the transformation!

Late last month we partnered with Breeze, a long-time customer, to provide a model (Yours Truly) as well as a backdrop for her autumn collection. This is a rare occasion where you'll actually see me in front of the camera, instead of behind it!
Breeze owns Ecofinery, an upscale jewellery upcycling company, dedicated to the transformation of old jewellery into vintage-inspired, wearable art. The earrings, ring, and stunning necklace in the photo above are all designed and crafted with care by her. Hop on over to her website to see more photos of her elegant creations!

Peggy Robinson of Sparkle & Barkle Doggie Boutique asked for our assistance with an upcoming festival at which she was participating. She carries all sorts of upscale dog outfits, accesories and toys, and wanted to boost her items with a vintage, Parisienne aesthetic. How did we do?
What a mess! This was my living room after seizing a marvelous opportunity earlier this year. We came across a job-lot of stage costumes that we couldn't ignore! My living room looked like Hurricane Katrina swept through for about 4 days; it took that long to sort through all the full costumes, the pieces and accessories. Whew! It's now all organized, on hangers or in baskets, and at the shop- waiting for you!
Do you know what you'd like to be for Hallowe'en? Check out the gallery below for just a few pieces we brought to the shop. Call us for availability, though!

There's so much more to say, but so little time I have before heading to the shop. Drop in for a chat some time soon, okay? :)
